We are Mornir, a pagan metal band from around Munich, Germany. We were founded in 2011 and played our first gigs in early
2012.
Musically we combine elements of Pagan-, Folk-, Death- and Black-Metal without limiting ourselves to a certain subgenre. With 2 guitars, bass, drums and violin we try to combine melodic orchestration with pure and heavy riffs. Take a listen and stay metal!

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross!

In my opinion are Wallfahrer currently the most interesting German BM Band. This albums has everything to prove me right. Fascinating song writing meets intelligent lyrics you are even able to understand. My favorite song varies between "Refugium Natura" and "Den Menschen So Fern"
